COMMERCIAL BREEDERS
PI testing of commercial cattle is optional. Confirm that the mob of cattle has been vaccinated with Pestigard® according to the label prior to mating. Vaccination reduces the risk of losses occurring if naïve pregnant females are exposed to Pestivirus during the sale process or after movement to a new property. STEP 4: PROGRAM OPTIONS
There are two options for STEP 4 for you to choose from:
STEP 5: MANUALLY RECORD YOUR VACCINATION PROGRAM
Simply record your vaccination program. (If your information has been automatically pre-populated from STEP 4B, all you have to do is add the Product Batch Number and Expiry Date for each vaccine.)
SPECIAL NOTE:
In order for your vaccination program to be accepted:
- • All vaccination dates must be before the Expiry Date of the relevant vaccines
- • Pestigard® Vaccination:
- o Vaccination dates between the 1st and 2nd dose must be at least 4 weeks to 6 months apart
- • Ultravac® 7in1 Vaccination:
- o Vaccination dates between the 1st and 2nd dose must be at least 4 weeks and no more than 6 weeks apart
- o If the Ultravac® 7in1 vaccination is an annual booster, you must also confirm that the first two doses were given when the cattle was a calf or that an appropriate annual vaccination was given during the previous 12 months
- • Vibrovax® Vaccination:
- o Vaccination dates between the 1st and 2nd dose must be at least 4 weeks apart
